Applications of the 2CY Gear Pump
The 2CY series gear pumps are suitable for conveying lubricating oils or other liquids with properties similar to lubricating oils, provided that the fluid contains no solid particles or fibers, its temperature does not exceed 300°C, and its kinematic viscosity ranges from 5×10⁻⁶ to 1.5×10⁻³ m²/s (5–1500 cSt). They are also used in hydraulic transmission systems. By reducing the pump speed, the viscosity of the conveyed medium can be increased up to 50,000 mm²/s.
Performance Range of the 2CY Gear Pump
Pressure range: ≤2.5 MPa; Flow rate range: ≤21 m³/h; Temperature range: ≤300°C; Viscosity range: 5–1500 mm²/s; with reduced speed, viscosity can be increased to 50,000 mm²/s.
Structural Features of the 2CY Gear Pump
This series of gear pumps consists primarily of gears, shafts, pump casings, pump covers, bearing sleeves, and shaft-end seals (with optional magnetic drive for zero-leakage operation upon special request). The gears are nitrided to achieve high hardness and excellent wear resistance. They are mounted together with the shaft inside replaceable bearing sleeves for operation. During pump operation, the lubrication of all internal components is automatically maintained by the conveyed fluid itself. The four bearing sleeves within the pump are floating-mounted in the pump casing and automatically adjust their end-face clearances in response to changes in operating pressure, thereby ensuring stable pump pressure, minimal output flow pulsation, and high volumetric efficiency. When viewed from the extended end of the main shaft, the pump rotates in a clockwise direction.

In oil-transfer systems, it can serve as a transfer or booster pump. In fuel systems, it can function as a fuel delivery, pressurization, and injection pump.
