The 2CG gear pump relies on the fluid being conveyed for automatic lubrication during normal operation, eliminating the need for additional lubricant. It also uses an elastic coupling to transmit power, which can compensate for minor misalignments during installation and provides effective cushioning against hydraulic shocks.

Scope of Application

The 2CG gear pump is suitable for conveying liquids with temperatures ranging from 150°C to 300°C and viscosities from 5×10⁻⁶ to 1.5×10⁻⁸ m²/s (5–1500 cSt). However, this pump is not suitable for handling corrosive liquids, liquids containing solid particles or fibers, highly volatile liquids, or liquids with a low flash point.
